Champagne is a huge wine region with over 14,000 growers in 300+ villages. 5,000 of these make champagne under their own label. Finding the best of these small family producers is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I have visited dozens of small producers over the years and settled on two or three personal favourites.

I was tipped off about this grower by Brendan, my local man on the ground. This is a delightful blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay from the Aube valley. Lovely white flowers and citrus notes on the nose, elegant and moreish on the palate with a good length. A dry champagne to drink all day and all night!
