Joffre Malbec 2006, RJ Vinedos |
£12.99 per bottle £155.88 per case Here’s another reason why wines from the Uco Valley have gained such an excellent reputation. The nose is highly expressive with perfumed aromas of redcurrant, blueberry and black forest fruits layered on top of ripe figs, some jammy fruit, hints of sweet spice, vanilla and chocolate and showing some signs of maturity. In the mouth the fresh fruits, soft juicy tannins and alcohol are all exquisitely balanced and followed through by a sweet, savoury and persistent finish. Grand Malbec indeed!
Drink: Now until 2014 Drink with: Good with steaks, red meats, pasta dishes and meaty fish.
