These two wineries are both based in the beautiful Franschhoek
area in the Cape Region. Pinotage reds are one of the many
success stories to come out of South Africa in recent years.
The grape is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault, both
originally from France. Bellingham has a history that goes back
to 1693 and their delicious blends will appeal to lovers of wines
from Bordeaux (St Georges) and the Rhone (Dragon’s Lair). The Bellingham white (a blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay
and Viognier) is particularly good. |
